In November 2007, MAHAK gained the Société Generale de Surveillance (SGS) Verified Certificate of Non-Governmental Organization Benchmarking in the city of Switzerland.
SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and verification company, and is globally recognized as the benchmark for quality and integrity. By rating organizations in various critical elements of organizational activities such as transparency, accounting and financial integrity, and human resource management, a globally-active organization such as SGS identifies areas of concern and/or weakness while providing guidance for improvement. MAHAK was the first non-governmental organization in the Middle East to obtain such a certificate. In SGS’s 2012 audit of non-governmental organization around the world, MAHAK ranked 10th. MAHAK impressively ranked as the 4th NGO in the world and the first in the Middle East by SGS among 299 organizations in 2016, with more than 155 NGO within North America.
SGS’s recognition of MAHAK validates the organization’s continued growth and ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and quality standards.
