Irvine, CA – January 26, 2013 – In late November, the renowned, award-winning, international commercial architectural firm, WD Partners, dedicated their annual holiday toy drive by creating “Toy Drive with a Twist” for the International Society for Children with Cancer, which helps provide care, funding and support to make a difference in the lives of cancer-stricken children, adolescents and their families. Donors from the large corporation, as well as their guests and families donated $20 gift cards, which the ISCC, in turn, donated to teen patients at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, California, further helping children with cancer.
Additionally, the National Charity League of Rancho/Irvine a mother daughter organization created 50 beautiful handmade “get well” holiday greeting cards for many teen patients at CHOC.
The ISCC-Charity then hosted their first open house on December 13th in order to introduce the organization to several businesses and donors located in their building, as well as community members and businesses that operate close by. Many guests took tours of the ISCC headquarters and met with ISCC key staff members.
