She is the founder and CEO of Golden Caviar Skin Care, a company specializing in luxurious caviar-based skincare products aimed at anti-aging and hair restoration. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Pooneh serves as a TV host and producer, engaging audiences with her dynamic presence. She maintains an active online presence through platforms like Instagram, where she shares insights into her professional journey and personal interests. She has expressed deep admiration for her mother, referring to her as “my beautiful angel” and acknowledging her resilience during and after cancer treatments. Additionally, Pooneh has featured stories like that of Jessica Weaver, a mother and fitness model who, after overcoming cancer, is now dedicated to coaching and empowering others.

Episode 16 - With Dr. Zarrin Azadi
Dr. Zarrin Azadi: is a distinguished clinical psychologist, hypnotherapist, and life coach with over 20 years of experience. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Throughout her career, Dr. Azadi has conducted more than 500 experiential seminars focusing on self-improvement, communication, management, and organizational skills. Following her personal journey as a two-time cancer survivor, she has delivered over 1,000 seminars worldwide for cancer and multiple sclerosis patients, offering support and guidance. Dr. Azadi is the founder of the Shining Soul Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing psychological and emotional support to diverse communities. She also serves as the president of the Persian American Cancer Society and hosts a live satellite television show, “The Impossible Hamsafar,” addressing psychological issues pertinent to the general public. Her commitment to integrating psychology and spirituality has made a significant impact on many lives.
Episode 15 - with Dr. Reza Shirazi
Dr. Reza Shirazi: is a respected radiation oncologist in San Diego, specializing in prostate, breast, pancreas, gastrointestinal, and brain cancers. He earned his medical degree and Master’s in Applied Physiology from The Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Barrett Cancer Center. Dr. Shirazi is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and is recognized as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors.
He is skilled in advanced radiation therapies like CyberKnife and IMRT. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Shirazi holds leadership roles, including serving on the board of Unio Specialty Care and Western Cancer Center. He has also contributed to the American Cancer Society and taught at San Diego State University.

Dr. Parivash Lajevardi: is a dedicated volunteer with the International Society for Children with Cancer (ISCC) and Mahak, organizations focused on supporting children battling cancer. In her interview on The Compassionate Corner podcast, she shares her impactful experiences working with these organizations, highlighting the importance of community support and compassion in the fight against childhood cancer. Dr. Lajevardi also opens up about the personal loss of her grandson to cancer, an incredibly emotional experience that has further fueled her commitment to helping others facing similar struggles.
Episode 13 - with Nanaz Kashefi
Nanaz Kashefi was born in Tehran, Iran, and raised in Utah after her parents relocated to the University of Utah to pursue their master’s degrees in 1986. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in international relations. In 2000, Nanaz was awarded the prestigious JD Williams scholarship and served as a White House intern through the Hinkley Institute.
Currently, she is a Senior Associate General Counsel at United Opum. Alongside her legal career, Nanaz is also a creative writer, specializing in poetry. She earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from New York University (NYU) in 2016.
A courageous cancer survivor, Nanaz has used her personal experiences to inspire others. We are excited to have her as a guest on the Compassionate Corner, where her strength and resilience continue to inspire many.
