Somme Sahab is a Los Angeles based entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is Founder & CEO of ParkUp, a PropTech startup launched to modernize the parking experience. Since its founding, ParkUp has digitized a legacy industry untapped since inception and established product-market fit providing users a streamlined experience while providing efficient backend solutions.
Prior to ParkUp, Sahab led City Center Parking which he founded nearly a decade earlier. Through the growth of City Center Parking, Sahab’s passion for commercial real estate acquisitions and complex negotiations securing leasehold interests grew along with it.
Sahab was born in Los Angeles to Iranian-American immigrants where he was raised with strong cultural values and taught the importance of hard work and fair dealings. He is actively involved in a number of philanthropic causes including the Novick Cardiac Alliance and the International Society for Children with Cancer where he serves on the board. He earned his BS degree from Cal State LA College of Business and Economics at the age of 20.
