Nazila Shams is a board member and has been acting as the Chief Financial Officer at Southern California Institute of Technology (SCIT) for the past twenty years. SCIT is an accredited, private college offering a variety of academic programs in the field of business, engineering, and computer science with close to 1000 students attending annually. She has extensive experience with U.S. Department of Education Financial Aid regulations, financial planning, and reporting requirements for postsecondary educational institutions. In addition to her experience working in higher education, she actively supports a variety of charitable foundations, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Arthritis Foundation, The Los Angeles Mission, and UNICEF.
