May 31, 2008 Private Fundraiser at Dr. Susan Daijavad’s Residence – An elegant gathering of more than 100 guests was held at the beautiful residence of Dr. Susan Daijavad in Atherton. After presentations by members of ISCC’s Board of Directors the charitable attendants made generous donations.

May 17, 2008 Celebration & Hope Fundraiser – First ever fundraiser for ISCC was held in conjunction with PASHA (Persian American Society for Health Advancement) at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. The event was a great success with more than 370 people in attendance.

March 2, 2008 Music & Art World Norooz Dance Festival – A presentation was made by Mrs. Tavakoli to a group of young parents. Activities of Mahak and ISCC were explained and Pari’s Readathon Project presented.

January 23, 2008 PASHA (Persian American Society for Health Advancement) Seminar at UCLA – A presentation was made by Mrs. Mohammadzadeh to a group of doctors, medical and pre-med. UCLA students. Both Mrs. Tavakoli and Mrs. Mohammadzadeh answered questions after the session. A number of those present signed up as young volunteers to help ISCC

January 19, 2008 IAMA (Iranian American Medical Association) – Javaan Annual Conference – At this annual gathering of young Iranian physicians, Mrs. Mohammadzadeh introduced Mahak and ISCC to the crowd of about 60 people.

January 16, 2008   Rancho Park Rotary Club – Mrs. Tavakoli made a presentation in Farsi to a group of 50 Rotarians about Mahak and ISCC and their respective goals and activities.

October 13-14, 2007 12^th Annual NIPOC (Network of Iranian American Professionals of Orange County) Mehregan Festival – ISCC had a booth at the event in Orange County run by a group of young volunteers. Information was given out to attendees and donations were collected.

September 30, 2007 Ibn Sina Foundation – Mrs. Tavakoli and Mohammadzadeh made a presentation at this organization in Orange County with nearly 200 people in attendance. Funds were donated to help ISCC in its mission.

April 22, 2007 APSIH (Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage) Scholarship Event - Information Booth set up to introduce MAHAK & ISCC to members and event attendees.

March 4, 2007 Los Angeles Marathon – A team of 7 young volunteers represented ISCC at the L.A. Marathon.

February 24, 2007 Laguna Hills Fundraiser - Soheila Afshari hosted a private fundraising gathering at her home in Laguna Hills.

February 18, 2007 Harbor View Community Clubhouse Fundraiser – Our biggest private fundraising gathering kindly put on by Ms. Shahla Nowroozi. All expenses were donated by a group of charitable friends. Ms. Fereshteh Tavakoli and Ms. Kiana Sharifi spoke at the event while 15 young volunteers helped out. There were 150 people in attendance.

January 4, 2007 KIRN 670 AM - Mrs. Tavakoli along with the organization's volunteer Sara Mohammadian were invited to speak with radio show host Mrs. Ardalan about the history and mission of both ISCC and MAHAK.

November 1, 2006 Persian American Society for Health Advancement (PASHA) - Mrs. Tavakoli introduced ISCC and MAHAK to the group at UCLA. She is invited to speak again at a later date.

October 27, 2006 Westlake Village Chapter of Rotary International - Mrs. Tavakoli & Jahanbeglary were invited to introduce ISCC to the club. The organization's dedicated volunteer Saman Mohammadian spoke specifically about the young members of ISCC and the extent of their involvement.

October 22, 2006   Mehregan Festival at Pierce College - ISCC exhibit successfully run solely by young volunteers to help spread the word about ISCC and MAHAK.

October 15, 2006 Ibn Sina Foundation - Second invitation by this organization in Orange County with nearly 120 people in attendance. Mrs. Tavakoli spoke about the ISCC and our young group of volunteers were present to collect funds donated. This fundraising event had a better result than anticipated.

September 9-10, 2006 11th Annual NIPOC Mehregan Festival - ISCC had an exhibit at the event in Orange County run by young volunteers to help spread the word about ISCC & MAHAK. It was a huge success.

August 28, 2006 KIRN 670 AM - Mrs. Tavakoli & Jahanbeglary were guests of a radio show introducing the history and mission of MAHAK & ISCC.

May 12, 2006 Niousha Dance Academy - Mrs. Niousha Nafei, founder of the academy in Sacramento, CA invited Kiana Sharifi to speak on behalf of ISCC prior to a live performance. Half of the proceeds from the program was donated to ISCC.

January 3, 2006 IMAN Foundation (Iranian Muslim Association of North America) - Mrs. Tavakoli & Jahanbeglary made a presentation introducing ISCC to IMAN members

October 23, 2005 Ibn Sina Foundation (Educational/Cultural Institute) - Mrs. Tavakoli & Jahanbeglary introduce ISCC to an audience of 120 people
